KEY DATES & SUBSCRIPTION RATES 2009/2010

The BDA membership year runs from 1 March to 28 February each year.
Please note if you are someone who is applying to join the BDA as a new member part way through the year you should contact the BDA Office. The subscriptions will vary depending on when you are applying for membership.
The membership subscriptions for 2009/10 were agreed at the Council meeting on 12 November 2008.
All subscriptions are due for payment on 1 March 2009. If paying by Single Direct Debit, the full subscription will be taken from your account on 1 March 2009. Direct Debit instalments commence 1 March 2009 and end 1 December 2009. Soon you will be able to pay for subscriptions on-line using a credit card.
The table below lists the amounts due for all categories of membership depending on how you have chosen to pay.

As stated in previous Dietetics Today the deadline for receipt of Direct Debit Mandates for 2009/10 to be received at the office is 7th January 2009. These have to be sent via post and forwarded on to our collection agency and banks, it will therefore now be too late to set up a new Direct Debit for this years subscription.

November is the month when members should contact the BDA regarding payment of their subscriptions by Direct Debit for next year. You will need to obtain a Direct Debit Mandate from the BDA to complete and return by the deadline which is usually very early January. Please note these cannot be faxed or emailed to you, so you will need to request them in plenty of time for you to be able to both receive and return them by post. |

November is also the month that anyone wishing to be considered for the non-practising category of subscription for next year, will need to complete the Non-practising form in November’s Dietetics Today and return it to the BDA Office. These need to be returned by post by the deadline which is normally mid January. |
