The event will include:

• Keynote speakers who will share their research experiences; 
• Research presentations, including oral and poster format, by dietitians whose abstracts have been selected following peer review;
• Tea, coffee and buffet lunch.

Introduction

On the day, there will be a mixture of oral and poster presentations. The oral presentations are 15 minutes in length and usually take the format of a PowerPoint presentation. The poster presentation involves a quick summary of the poster by the author for about 3 minutes. The posters will be on display all day.

Once all the presentations are completed, the judges will make a decision and award prizes to the best oral/poster presentations.

Programme

The symposia will start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm.

Who should attend?

Authors of successful submissions will be expected to present their findings at the symposia. Please ensure you specify which symposium you are submitting your abstract to when submitting.  To book your place at a symposium please complete the form below.

All BDA members are welcome to attend either event.  All the presentations are relevant to practice; you are guaranteed an interesting and thought provoking day.  The registration fee is only £15 and that includes lunch and all refreshments; so a bargain as well.  While it is daunting doing your presentation it is nice to have a good audience – so please support these events.
