- Care Quality Commission: checks all hospitals in England to ensure they are meeting national standards, and share their findings with the public.
- Career Choices (BDA site containing jobs for dietitians).
- Children’s Food Campaign wants to improve young people’s health and wellbeing through good food and real food education in school, protecting children from junk food marketing and clear labelling that everyone including children can understand. The BDA is a supporter of this campaign.
- CME on Diabetes is a website built to transmit top-level CME conferences given by international experts in endocrinology, insulin resistance, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes.
- The Coeliac UK website has a dedicated area of up-to-date, referenced information for health care professionals working with patients with coeliac disease.
- Cool Food Planet is an educational website where children, aged 6-12 years, can learn about health, nutrition and food safety. Educating children about nutrition is one of the most important steps towards good health and helping them to grow to their potential.
Cool Food Planet is a product of the European Food Information Council (EUFIC). EUFIC is a non-profit organisation which provides science-based information on food safety and quality and health and nutrition in a way that promotes consumer understanding. - CORE: fighting gut and liver disease.

- Health and Care Professions Council regulates the following professions: arts therapists, biomedical scientists, chiropodists / podiatrists, clinical scientists, dietitians, hearing aid dispensers, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, paramedics, physiotherapists, practitioner psychologists, prosthetists / orthotists, radiographers, social workers in England and speech and language therapists.
All of these professions have at least one professional title that is protected by law, including those shown above. This means, for example, that anyone using the titles 'physiotherapist' or 'dietitian' must be registered with us.
