Check Your Food Facts during Childhood Obesity Week
During Childhood Obesity Week (4-10 July 2011), the British Dietetic Association (BDA) is inviting members of the public to access their Food Factsheets for tips and advice on health eating for children.
The BDA Food Factsheets are all written by registered dietitians.
Registered dietitians are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat diet and nutrition problems at an individual and wider public health level. They are the only nutrition professional to be statutorily regulated and governed by an ethical code to ensure that they always work to the highest standard.
The BDA Food Factsheets can be accessed by logging on to www.bda.uk.com/foodfacts. Members of the public are welcome to download the factsheets and print copies for others.
