The BDA is the leading organisation in nutrition and dietetics in the UK. Our expert members develop policy in a range of fields including health policy, nutrition policy and practice and dietetics. These evidence based and referenced policy statements are available to policy makers, the public, media and members to provide clear statement of the BDA’s position on a range of important topics. New policy statements are under development and all are subject to review.
The BDA has for many years publicly published advisory documents related to nutrition, dietetics and everyday diet issues: the Food Fact sheets, for example.
We also provide our members with a large range of information to assist their professional practice and their patients.
