Dear Fellow Students,

So you’re considering BDA membership? Good choice!

Should you need convincing further however read on for some of the great benefits available to student members.

All students get a free subscription to PEN (worth £220), an online evidence-based resource for dietitians covering over 160 different dietetic subjects, great for informing coursework and clinical placements. Get online access to Dietetics Today the monthly magazine, full of dietetic news, features and a dedicated student page.

Have a special interest or want to get involved locally? Just like full members of the BDA, students can join special interest groups and local BDA branches, great for networking and finding out about cutting edge dietetics!

The BDA has your back on clinical placement by providing professional indemnity insurance for members; this entitles you to legal advice and representation to the value of £3 million.

The BDA is your organisation, supporting you through university and throughout your dietetic career, wherever it takes you! As a BDA student member I’m already reaping the rewards, you could be too! Join today and experience the benefits for yourself.

Applying is easy: download the Student Application Pack. Complete the Application Form, Equality Monitoring Form and Direct Debit Mandate Form, and post them back to us using the address on the back of the Application Form (you’ll need a stamp).

We’ll then process your application and get your membership pack and card out to you pronto. If you have any questions drop us an email to studentmember@bda.uk.com.

The BDA and I hope you all have a happy and successful academic year.
