

Free Membership for New Students - Terms and Conditions
If you are a first year pre-registration dietetic student you can now get free membership of the BDA and PEN for your first year. You must be a new entrant to the dietetics course and have never been a BDA member before to be eligible for this offer.
Only courses which result in eligibility to be registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) are included in this promotion.
BDA Student Membership
You will need to complete the student application form which you can download and print at www.bda.uk.com/students and return to us requesting a direct debit mandate.
Once this direct debit mandate has been returned to us completed we can start your BDA membership. After your free year, you will be charged at the student membership rate of £31 per year until you graduate.
PEN Membership
Access to the Practice-based Evidence in Nutrition resource is free for students entering their first year. Upon becoming a BDA member, you will be able to register for your free PEN subscription. After your first year, PEN can be purchased at the student rate of £45 per year.

If you leave your course it is your responsibility to inform us by either calling us on 0121 200 8080 or emailing membership@bda.uk.com as soon as you can. This also applies if you move house and/or change your contact details.
The BDA reserves the right to refuse membership at its own discretion.
