The purpose of the role is to represent the dietetic profession and the BDA in England; to oversee the country board’s work programme; and, liaise with the BDA Board of Directors on behalf of members in England.
This is a strategic leadership role and the post holder will be expected to represent the BDA locally, develop and influence local policy, manage the country board and work closely with the BDA Board, staff and volunteers.
The post holder will be a full BDA Member and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and diversity and to growing diversity in dietetics.
Remuneration: An annual fee of £5,000 will be paid and expenses will be reimbursed in line with the BDA policies.
