The BDA has country boards for, , and .
The country boards represent nationally, in the countries, the interests of the profession and members to key stakeholders, such as government departments and other professionals; and represent the members in those countries at UK level.
The BDA also has specific functional Boards who work across key areas, these Board promote best practice and represent the profession across the following areas:
