BBC Good Food Show

Following the success of our attendance at the show last year, we will be returning to the BBC Good Food Show Summer from 14 - 17 June at NEC Birmingham.

Over four days, we'll be providing the audience with up-to-date facts on a variety of nutrition topics. Our dietitian drop in clinic will allow the public to drop by for a quick chat. Last year, thanks to our amazing volunteers, this feature was very popular. Tahira Bashir, who helped in 2017 shared her thoughts on the show:

Volunteering provided me with the opportunity to encourage individuals to try adopting a preventative, pro-active lifestyle. I was also on hand to clarify any misconceptions around diet, health and body image.

In addition to the drop in clinic, we will have a dietitian speaking on in the Summer Kitchen each day. Last year these talks were very well attended and enjoyed by the audience. Here's what we've got to look forward to this year:

  • Thursday - 2.15pm - Rachel Margetts - Make your own fakeaway
  • Friday - 2.15pm - Sophie Claeseens - Good Mood Food
  • Saturday - 2.15pm - Duane Mellor & Paul McArdle - Let's talk about meat!
  • Sunday - 1.30pm - Kaitlin Colucci - 3 ways with protein
