What will this talk cover?
Specifically focus on the role Dietitians have to play in promoting sustainable eating. It will provide an insight into sustainable diets, an overview of the research conducted in this area, current dietary recommendations incorporating sustainability and suggestions on how Dietitians can achieve this in practice.
About Lynne - Lynne is a qualified Dietitian with around 30 years' experience in food, diet and health. After qualifying from King’s College, London, Lynne worked both in the NHS and industry, before starting her own nutrition consultancy. She is Editor of Complete Nutrition magazine and is also active in the media - working with TV companies, national newspapers and has provided nutritional input into various books. Lynne is particularly interested in the growing body of evidence supporting eating patterns that are beneficial to both health and the environment. This has resulted in her co-authoring two books on the subject.
