Join Sue Baic MSc RD for Nutrition interventions in the workplace: diet and health in shift workers


Sue has worked as a registered dietitian in the NHS and in higher education as a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Public Health at the University of Bristol.  She has a special interest in workplace health having delivered and evaluated interventions for a range of employers. She is a member of the BDA Work Ready Steering Group and a tutor on the accredited Work Ready Dietitian’s training course.

Participants will…
• Appreciate how nutrition interventions in the workplace may be of value to employers and offer rewarding  opportunities for freelance dietitians.
• Explore  some of the evidence base for nutrition related workplace interventions focussing on the role of diet and health in shift workers  and the type of interventions which might be most effective.
• Recognise some of the key aspects to consider in delivering effective workplace interventions.
• Gain an introduction to the BDA Work Ready programme.
