What went on ...
On 14 & 15 March we enjoyed two days full of inspiring talks at BDA Live. The audience gained CPD whilst enjoying talks by expert speakers focusing on the current and future issues facing the dietetic profession. Four of our specialist groups hosted excellent breakout sessions covering a range of topics plus a variety of sponsors showcasing up-to-date products and services.

Day one plenary sessions focused on future foods and nutrition with lectures, talks and panel discussions plus our dragon den's session on functional foods. We hosted two breakout sessions where delegates were provided with a gluten & wheat free update overseen by BDA Gastroenterology Specialist Group and Public Health Specialist Group provide an insight and overview to getting started with sustainable diets in your dietetic practice.
Delegates also attended the optional session moments that matter with Helen Bond hosted by British Fruit Juice Association they also supported the morning refreshment break, we all enjoyed a glass of 100% orange juice.
During day one, lunch was supported by the California Walnut Commission, we also sampled Fibre One and Alpro Go On during the afternoon break.
Day two plenary sessions focused on transforming care and the changing shape of the dietetic workforce with talks and panel discussions. Two breakout sessions were hosted with BDA PENG Specialist Group providing an update of
During the final break Nutricia sampled their new flavours of Fortisip Compact Protein.
There was plenty of time for sharing best practice, networking and building relationships across the variety of audience in attendance.
