Carers Scotland is a charity which supports over 759,000 people in Scotland who care for a disabled, elderly or seriously ill relative, friend or neighbour. We also provide training; campaign for lasting change; and innovate to find new ways to reach and support carers. This includes our care management app, Jointly, and an e-learning module on nutrition which helps carers understand the role of nutrition for themselves and the person they are looking after. We also operate the Scottish Government's Carer Positive award scheme, which recognises employers who have a supportive working environment for their staff who are carers.
