BDA Modules

Module 1 (ADV741) Nutrition and Dietetics in Infancy and Childhood - for those starting our in paediatric dietetics. An invaluable introduction to childhood nutrition, growth, anthropometry, methods for concentrating feeds and common feeding problems seen in primary care. View Example Programme

Module 2 (ADV742) Nutrition and Dietetics in Common Paediatric Disorders - for those with some paediatric experience. Builds on knowledge gained in module1. Topics covered are commonly seen in acute secondary centres, with further follow-up care in the community. View Example Programme

Module 3 (ADV743) Clinical Dietetics for Infants and Children - for the more experienced paediatric dietitian. Whilst the disorders covered are treated in the acute phase in tertiary settings, once discharged children require continuing care at home so this module is valuable for dietitians providing shared care in both secondary and community services. View Example Programme

Module 4 (ADV720) Dietetic Management of Inherited Metabolic Disorders - a highly specialised module for those working with children with inherited metabolic diseases. This module is a must for tertiary metabolic dietitians and will provide essential knowledge for those providing shared care in local hospital services. View Example Programme

Module 5 (ADV744) Neonatal Nutrition - a highly specialised module aimed at those working in level 3 neonatal intensive care units. This module will also be of interest to those working in level 2 local high dependency neonatal units. View Example Programme

Cost per module

 

£820 - inclusive of lunch and refreshments over 4 days. Accommodation is not included.

Please note you must have funding arranged prior to booking a place

If your trust/employer/company/sponsor is funding your place, you will need to select “invoice” on the payment page. If you have a purchase order number in advance, please enter this in the box provided. If you do not have this information at the time of booking, you can enter “pending” in the box provided but please do still continue with your registration to secure your place. You can always make amendments to your payment details afterwards.

Please note all invoices are produced automatically for you upon completion of the booking. It is then your responsibility to forward the invoice onto the relevant person/department. All payments must be received by the BDA by the advertised deadline. By confirming your booking, you are accepting liability for the full advertised payment of £820 in line with the below:

  • If your NHS Trust/employer/company/sponsor is funding your place, the payment liability will reside here and as such, they have the right to replace the registered delegate with an alternative member of staff, should the need arise.
  • If you are self-funding, the payment liability will reside with you as the registered delegate. Your NHS trust/employer/company/sponsor does not have the right to replace you as the registered delegate.

 

It is the delegate's responsibility to ensure the details inputted into the "billing information" section of the booking are complete and accurate for the person/department/trust who is funding your place.

Should you need to cancel your place for any reason, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible to ensure your place can be reallocated. Refunds may be processed in accordance with the advertised terms and conditions of the booking.
