I am a Performance Nutritionist, my approach is best described as coaching. I have a positive, collaborative attitude and work with clients to optimise their health, performance and recovery through individualised nutrition strategies.  I see most clients remotely via Zoom and have worked with a variety of athletes including swimmers, triathletes, cyclists, SUP-ers, runners and rowers. In 2021 I undertook my MSc project with open water swimmers, and realised how little nutritional help there is out there which truly understands the unique challenges of long distance swimming. I developed a specific program and expertise in this area, and therefore spend a lot of time providing nutrition coaching for swimmers and triathletes training for races/challenges, from 2.5k swim/sprint distance triathlon, right up to the English Channel, Great Lakes swims and Ironman distances.

Nutritional coaching is about the expertise of the coach to truly understand the client and what they need to perform at their best in their chosen sport - the collaboration is key. I believe the impact of nutrition is often underrated, many athletes I have worked with found changes were straightforward to implement, and made an immediate and tangible difference to their stamina and performance. If you take your sport seriously and want to improve, 1:1 nutrition coaching will be a worthwhile investment. I offer all prospective clients a free initial 15 minute remote consultation so that we can discuss your goals, I can answer any questions, and you can decide if I am the right person for you to work with.

I am experienced in public speaking and have provided interesting presentations to groups and sports clubs on all aspects of Sports Nutrition. I am also accredited to ISAK Level 1 for body composition measurement, and a UKAD Clean Sport Advisor.
