Attend and represent the BDA at external events
"Volunteering or attending BDA events as a student is an excellent way to enhance your CPD, network with other students and professionals, and opens your eyes to the many different paths that a dietetics degree can lead to. The BDA often offers student subsidies, and also some travel bursaries to help you attend academic conferences." Student Member Harriet Smith, Kings College London
Each year the BDA attends a number of public-facing and industry-relevant conferences and exhibitions promoting the value and impact of dietetics. We also run our own national events. Volunteer at a BDA event and help BDA staff and your fellow members in a variety of ways such as supporting promotional stand activities, whilst getting a free ticket to attend – great for your CPD!
