Hi I'm Maddie, 

I am a registered dietitian with 10 years clinical experience working in the NHS within a range of specialities including gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology and nephrology, working currently within the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. 

I am also a qualified sports dietitian after completing a post graduate certification in Applied Sports Nutrition at St Marys University in London, while simultaneously providing nutrition support to sports scholarship athletes. I am an active member of the BDA Sports Nutrition Specialist Group and on the Sports and Exercise Nutrition register (SENr). 

Sports has always been a large part of my life, particularly the arena of endurance sports, having first hand experience of participating in long distance running events (full & ultra marathons) and swimming competitively. Providing evidence based nutritional advice to support performance goals and athletic longevity is my passion and goal outside of my routine clinical job.

I aim to provide evidence based nutrition advice to supporting individuals at all fitness levels including bespoke fuelling strategies, pre/ post training or event nutrition diet plans, 1:1/ group education sessions or just routine 'diet' MOTs for those who are trying to balance physically demanding training routines with a busy life! I also have clinical experience working with individuals following a vegetarian, vegan/ plant based or lactose free diet alongside those living with chronic health conditions including functional bowel syndromes like IBS, Coeliac disease, PCOS and kidney disease.
