BDA Trade Union

Support at work, when you need it most

As a British Dietetic Association member, you can access expert advice, representation and workplace support from everyday questions to more serious issues.

If you're facing challenges at work, you don’t have to deal with them alone. Whether it’s changes to your job, redundancy, disciplinary action, sickness, grievances, workload issues or discrimination, we’re here to help. These situations can be difficult, but with the right advice and support, you can move forward with confidence.

As a full or associate member of the BDA, you have access to free, expert advice on all employment matters. If needed, we can also represent you at formal hearings. If you're a student member, you can still contact us for advice, though full representation isn’t included in your membership.

We also represent our community on a national level, negotiating your terms and conditions of employment through Agenda for Change. At a local level, BDA trade union representatives are on hand to support you in your workplace.
