Welcome to the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the only professional body in the UK for the whole of the dietetic workforce. You’re here because an existing BDA member has recommended our membership to you and really thinks you’ll benefit from joining their vibrant dietetic community!
Almost 11,000 members including over 8,500 registered dietitians, 1,400 dietetic students and hundreds of dietetic support staff/assistant practitioners, nutritionists and international dietitians are already a member of the BDA, their professional body and trade union. A large majority of these members believe that all of the dietetic workforce should be a member of the BDA, and here’s why:
The BDA membership community represents, promotes and protects the whole of the dietetic workforce, with amost 11,000 members. If you are a dietitian, dietetic student, dietetic support worker, dietetic assistant, or nutritionist working under the supervision of a dietitian, then we invite you to join us today.
How do I join?
- Discover the value of all the useful benefits and services available to you when you join your professional body and trade union, such as vital Professional Indemnity Insurance, Trade Union support, advice and cover, representation at HCPC hearings, and a wide range of professional practice resources to support you in your daily practice.
- Find your membership category - join us as a Full Member if you are a registered dietitian, an Associate Member if you are a dietetic support worker/assistant practitioner, or check out our other membership categories for the whole workforce.
- Decide how to pay your tax-deductable membership fee - at just £26.95 a month for full members, or £9-13 for support staff, BDA membership is excellent value for money, providing you with over £2,000 worth of benefits, resources and services each year.
