Vittoria Romano - Chairperson

My role as chair is responsible for leading and guiding the committee to deliver the Specialist Group’s objectives.

Elaine Lane - Resources Officer

My role includes; ensuring all educational resources are regularly reviewed and updated, co-ordinating OPSG responses to relevant NICE guidelines and manage relationship with NDRUK. 

Lucy Marland - Secretary

My role includes supporting the Chair with the running of the group, co ordinating meetings, producing agendas and taking minutes.

Jen Grant - Events Organiser

My role as the events organiser is to support the planning and co-ordination of OPSG events, including webinar and face-to-face activities. 

David Gray - Treasurer

My role as the OPSG treasurer is to support group finances.

Dove Yu - PR Officer

My role as PR officer is to act as the group spokesperson, work with the communication lead and publicise group related activities to a broad audience. 

Selena Evans - Social Media Officer

My role as social media officer is to work alongside the other members of the comms team to produce and collate relevant content to share with our members via social media, our newsletter, and on our website.

Jill Macrae - Social Media Officer

My role as social media officer is to work alongside the other members of the comms team to produce and collate relevant content to share with our members via social media, our newsletter, and on our website.

Kato Lambrechts - Student Member

My role as student member is to represent the views and perspectives of BDA student members and work on projects and tasks to support other members of the committee.

Alison Smith - Ordinary Member

Longstanding committee member, previous chair, BDA Ambassador, leads on a number of national initiatives relating to nutrition and hydration in older adults.
