Through interactive lectures, group workshops and self-guided learning tasks, participants will get an update on clinical pathways in relation to the dietary management of IBS, in particular:
- diagnosis and holistic approach to the management of IBS including digital technology in referral and triage pathways
- recent evidence for dietary management of IBS (first-line and second-line advice)
- use of probiotics as part of the first-line advice and the three stages of the low FODMAP diet as part of the second-line advice
- the gut-brain axis and the management of IBS following a holistic approach as part of an integrated care pathway
