The Roll of Honour award is given to members who have contributed to a defined piece of work, project or activity in the past year.
Nominees should have made a significant contribution to the piece of work or project by providing leadership or dedicating significant personal time and effort.
The Roll of Honour is given to members who have provided services beyond what would be expected to a committee, working group or project.
In addition, nominees would not normally fulfil the criteria for another BDA Honour such as an Ibex or Fellowship which are given for contributions over many years of practice.
To nominate someone please submit the below form with details of who you wish to nominate and why. Nominations are dealt with throughout the year. When nominations are received, they are first assessed by the BDA Senior Leadership Team (SLT). If the SLT have agreed the nomination, approval from the Board of Directors will be sought. Winners will usually be notified in batches and followed up by publicity on social media and in Dietetics Today.
The names of those who have been added to the Roll of Honour are displayed at the BDA Awards Ceremony each year.

The BDA Chief Executive Officer will make the final decision on conferring the Roll of Honour. The discussions will be confidential and no further correspondence will be entered into. Successful nominees will be informed, following which notice will appear in Dietetics Today.
