Mrs Jodie Hemmings-Trigg
Jodie gained an undergraduate degree from The University of Birmingham in Sport and Exercise Science before completing a MSc in Sport Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Jodie is currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences at LJMU with a focus on applied nutrition delivery and female athlete development within the High Performance space.
Supporting elite teams and individual athletes to improve the likelihood of success through research informed applied nutrition practice. Promoting behaviour change through effective coaching techniques as well as strategic team services including nutrition curriculum development and delivery, nutrition workshops, audit for ongoing services and applied research projects within High Performance environments.
Delivery across a broad spectrum of elite settings including Women's Super League (WSL), a Category 1 (EPPP) Premiership Football Academy, strategic development of nutrition education content for talent pathways for England athletics as well as GB Archery and supporting Commonwealth Games athletes involved in weight making sports.
A passionate practitioner always looking to improve and enhance delivery of academic research to 'real-world' situations through forging impactful and long-term relationships.
