Chair, Wales Country Board

The BDA is looking for a Chair to lead BDA Bwrdd Cymru

The purpose of the role is to represent the dietetic profession and the BDA in Wales; to oversee BDA Bwrdd Cymru’s work programme; and, liaise with the BDA Board of Directors on behalf of members.

This is a strategic leadership role and the post holder will be expected to represent the BDA locally, develop and influence local policy, manage BDA Bwrdd Cymru and Work closely with the BDA Board, staff and volunteers.

The post holder will be a full BDA Member and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and diversity and to growing diversity in dietetics and the development of sustainable workforce. 

Remuneration

An annual fee of £5,000 will be paid and expenses will be reimbursed for travel to meetings and events, where required, in line with BDA policies.
