The BDA student rep sits on the Board of Directors to advocate for the interests of dietetic students, supports student engagement and recruitment activity, and contributes to our student communications, including RD2B, our student e-zine.
If you are a proactive student member who would be interested in getting involved in the running of the BDA, helping to grow our student voice and reach, learning more about the work we do, networking with senior colleagues and leading on student initiatives, then the student rep role could be for you.
"I’m an advocate for volunteering and am eager to support students in networking and finding opportunities that will develop you professionally and enrich your CV for when you join the dietetic workforce. - April Aslett, BDA Student Rep 24/25.
"I am passionate about connecting dietetics students from different universities to enable us to share experiences and tips with each other through social media and discussion forums on the BDA student section." - Ellen Morgan, BDA Student Rep 22-23
"I really hope I can draw on my experiences to support and inspire others, and to promote a collective student voice that can inspire progress and enhance the overall experience of being a BDA student member." - Alison Booker, BDA Student Rep 19-20
