Location: Office Based, Central Birmingham
Starting Salary: £26,194 per annum (full time 36 hours per week) We may also consider part time.

The British Dietetic Association is a professional body and trade union and is the leading organisation of nutrition professionals in the UK, representing the nutrition and dietetic workforce across all sectors with over 12,000 members.
The BDA are seeking a good communicator, with some knowledge of facilities and excellent IT skills.
Have knowledge of the day to day running of an office and be proficient in Windows 365. You have excellent communication skills, be a great planner, flexible and have experience of taking minutes of meetings.
Working within the Governance Admin team, the role holder will be dealing with incoming queries and providing high quality administrative support to the admin, membership and volunteer teams. The role holder will also manage the in-house office facilities and be responsible for ordering new supplies, managing the contracts files and pre-empting any supplier changes.
This role would suit somebody who is flexible with excellent organisation skills. The office will be different every day and occasional out of standard hours work may be required. However, the BDA offer a flexible working scheme, including time off in lieu (TOIL)
Knowledge of formatting documents, taking minutes of meetings and basic Governance would be an advantage, as would an understanding of the role of membership or professional bodies.
The role will include overseeing of in-office facilities, so some experience of organising office supplies and the confidence to deal with suppliers will be useful.
