The BDA and its specialist groups are regularly approached by external (third party) individuals and organisations asking for endorsement or support of their resources, policies and publications.
BDA Endorsement is a process whereby external resources and publications can gain a mark of quality from the BDA, and if successful, carry the recognised, valued and respected name of the BDA. It has been developed as a flexible tool which can be applied to a range of publications.
Irrespective of whether an organisation is looking for endorsement from the BDA organisation or from one of our specialist groups, all requests are dealt with via the same process, as detailed in the following webpages and guidance.
Please note: this process does not cover CPD learning activities, please refer to the 'BDA CPD Approval' process in these instances.
Due to the range of endorsement requests the BDA receives, we provide a tiered approach to endorsement. This allows the organisation to preserve the quality of the BDA brand and logo, whilst allowing us to support and acknowledge the range of work being produced. A resource or publication can be approved for endorsement in three ways:
Tier |
Description |
Outcome |
Co-Authored |
