Mental Health Group - Resilience and Workplace Wellbeing Study Day

The Mental Health group have announced their annual study on Resilience and Workplace Wellbeing.

Following a difficult year for all of us, this year's study day will be focussed around wellbeing and how important this is for ourselves and our ability to care for our service users. 

Speakers include Reg Friddle on Personal Resilience Training, Esther Pepperdine, Psychologist at Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust on Compassion Focussed Therapy and ARFID with Christian Lee and Sian Taylor. There will be breakouts available and time to chat too.

We are inviting all BDA Members to join us for Reg Friddle's session on resilience and wellbeing, the session is being held from 1.30pm until 3.10pm. This session will cover what is resilience defining what it means in practical terms. Providing you with 6 techniques for enhancing personal resilience including reality check; reuse and recycle; minding the gap; manage your thoughts; control what you can - make peace with the rest; when you say yes - you also say no and finish with action planning – taking these learnings into your real life situation. There will also be an opportunity for participant input.
