Lisa now spends her NHS time working with young people with ARFID, eating disorders and feeding difficulties associated with ADHA and autism.

Prior to training as a dietitian Lisa worked across East Amber Valley providing breastfeeding support to families, it is her love for good nutrition and supporting the family unit that lead her to train in the field of dietetics. She is passionate about breastfeeding, she has 20 years experience supporting breastfeeding families and is dual trained as an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).

Lisa prefers to dedicate the majority of her time to neonatal and paediatric care and is able to treat patients with a wide range of clinical conditions such as poor growth, breastfeeding issues,  chronic lung disease, cardiac conditions, genetic conditions, coeliac disease, cancer, reflux, cow's milk protein allergy, neuro-disability, poor feed tolerance and complex feeding issues, ARFID, eating disorders and mental health conditions.

Providing good nutrition to support growth and development is very important to Lisa, she has a keen interest in ARFID, blended diet via gastrostomy, caring for ex preterm babies, supporting breastfeeding families and children with complex feeding issues.
