The BDA Trade Union is acutely aware that many of our members may need some extra support at work especially if they experience any forms of harassment or discrimination. All members have an equal right to dignity, kindness and respect in the workplace.
With that in mind we are holding a short webinar to explain what support is available and to understand member experiences in the workplace.
We recently published a short statement on recent public debates around immigration, demonstrations and flag raising, which have created unwanted tensions in workplaces and communities. We understand that this is contributing to a climate of fear, division and intimidation leaving people from our diverse and global profession feeling intimidated, isolated or excluded.

Follow up questions will be added in due course.
The webinars are open to all members who simply want to find out what the BDA Trade Union is doing for them behind the scenes and what it can do to support during times of need. It will encourage members to get involved and demonstrate how being a rep develops skills, supports career growth and improves workplaces. The more members that get involved, the stronger the BDA will be as a professional association.
