More about Tom - Tom chairs the British Dietetic Association's Advanced Practice specialist group and leads the Acute Enteral Nutrition Service at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in South Yorkshire. This wrap-around service operates through a single point of access, where Advanced Practitioners are required to assess, diagnose, and treat patients who present through elective and emergency pathways. The service delivers diagnostic and interventional procedures across a variety of settings.

More about Nicky - Nicky is the lead Dietitian for the nutrition team & severe intestinal failure service in Coventry, where she has worked for over 20 years. The severe intestinal failure service supports patients across a regional catchment area, both during inpatient admission, and following discharge on home parenteral support. Nicky is passionate about developing research within dietetics, having completed her doctorate in 2015. She is currently leading several research studies and chairs our department research group. She has key roles on several national committees related to nutrition support, dietetic advanced practice and prescribing. She has completed the HEE Centre for Advancing Practice e-portfolio route to achieve her Advanced Practice digital badge.

More about Allan - Allan has been a Registered Nurse since 2003, working in mainly acute care settings in the UK. He is currently reading for his PhD with a thesis entitled 'A Visual Phenomenology of Mindfulness After COVID-19'. Allan is passionate about Mindfulness and Visual Art, championing the place that visual Arts Based Research occupies to communicate and inspire ideas across educational, cultural and language barriers.’
