This journal club, led by the Obesity Specialist group of the BDA, will consider the 2025 published review and meta-analysis that looks at the impact of behavioural weight management interventions on eating behaviours and specifically whether disordered eating increases as a consequence of the intervention. This is a very comprehensive review using six databases resulting in 38 papers being included in the review. We will briefly present the paper and then use break-out rooms for groups to critique the methodology and findings.
