Tazmin Lewis is Registered Dietitian with ten years of experience and specialises in both pregnancy and diabetes nutrition.
Tazmin balances her time whilst working in the NHS and freelance. She is currently an Advanced Specialist Dietitian in diabetes for the NHS with experience in adults and paediatrics supporting people with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes. Tazmin is able to advised on diet and lifestyle changes to balance glucose levels and also able to analyse data from blood glucose monitors, continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps.
She has supported thousands of women through their pregnancies and able to advise on nutrition for each trimester. Tazmin is also a breastfeeding peer supporter so has unique skills to support those throughout the forth trimester too. Tazmin's aim is to help women feel the best they can during their pregnancies by optimising their diet, preventing and treating nutritional deficiencies, whilst meeting the nutritional needs of mum and baby.
She also has a wealth of knowledge in other areas of nutrition such as high cholesterol, IBS, weight management, nutrition support and vegan/vegetarian diets.
Tazmin can offer individual appointments as well as workshops/webinars and food diary/recipe analysis.
Outside of work you can find Tazmin spending time with her two young children, eating at delicious restaurants, cooking/baking, the occasional run and foraging in nature.
