Dietitians' Guide to TikTok

Are you looking to get started on TikTok?

TikTok has more than 1 billion monthly users globally - which accounts for 18% of internet users worldwide. By the end of 2023, there were almost 17 billion views of nutrition content on the platform. Dietitians and the dietetic community have a fantastic oppportunity to join this popular platform and share positive, healthy food messaging - and debunking the myths.

This new guidance, available for BDA members, has been written in partnership with dietitian and BDA member Kate Hilton. Kate is a leading UK dietitian on TikTok (@dietsdebunked) with more than 33,000 followers and 340,000 likes on her videos, covering a wide range of topics and advice for the public.
