Working with adults with obesity

Working with adults with obesity

This course is designed to build strong foundations for high-quality, compassionate practice and care. It offers a safe and supportive space where you can reflect, learn, and grow exploring areas for development and uncovering gaps in your knowledge, skills, and confidence.

Together, we will strengthen your understanding of evidence-based practice while developing both foundational and systems-level insight into the complex nature of obesity, empowering you to feel more confident and effective in your role.

Who benefits from this course?

This course has been designed to support dietitians at all stages of their professional journey. We’ve seen it benefit a wide range of practitioners from graduates, dietitians, and dietetic assistants who are new to obesity care, to those working in other specialisms who are looking to broaden their knowledge and expand their scope of practice in weight management.

It is equally valuable for experienced dietitians who have been working in obesity services for many years, offering an opportunity to refresh, deepen, and consolidate practice in an evolving field.

For those considering the "Dietary Management of Obesity Medications and Bariatric Surgery", this programme  will  provide a strong and essential foundation, helping you get the most out of the next step in your learning and ensuring you feel confident, prepared, and ready to apply more advanced concepts in practice.
