We will also explore the important role of primary care dietitians in supporting patient education, lifestyle interventions and multidisciplinary management. This session is ideal for dietitians looking to enhance confidence in delivering evidence-based care in this rapidly evolving area. 

 

Nusrat Kausar is a Clinical Director and co-founder of Primary Care Dietitians (PCD), the leading provider of First Contact Dietitian services across Primary Care Networks in England. Alongside her leadership role, Nusrat works clinically two days a week as a First Contact Dietitian at a PCN in Harehills, Bradford, where she regularly supports patients living with type 2 diabetes and obesity, including those on GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy. She brings both a strategic and clinical perspective on how dietitians can support safe, effective, and holistic management of these conditions in primary care.
