Are you a student, new graduate, or a dietitian interested in critical care? You're invited to a 90-minute webinar hosted by the Critial Care Specialist Group, where we'll walk through the fundamentals of critical care dietetics.
The session will introduce the critical care environment, critical illness and organ support. We will discuss the assessment of a critically unwell adult, going through anthropometry, biochemistry, the clinical situation, nutritional assessment and other relevant factors. Nutritional guidelines relevant to the area will be introduced and a case study patient will be referenced throughout, to tie in the information discussed. There will be the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
