Mei is a dedicated and caring Dietitian. A graduate of The University of Surrey, Mei has worked as a Specialist Project Lead Dietitian for both adult and childhood obesity management. Mei has also worked as a Senior Dietitian and Diabetes Specialist Dietitian in digital health care where she helped patients to prevent type 2 diabetes and supported individuals with type 2 diabetes. Mei’s passion is to help empower people to go above and beyond their health goals. Her devotion stemmed from transforming her own health problems so she understands the challenges too well when it comes to making lifestyle changes! Mei continues to work within the NHS and provides consultancy work for private healthcare alongside her private practice and freelance dietetic services. In November 2020, Mei was promoted to co-lead on NHS England’s Low Calorie Diet pilot programme to help patients to achieve diabetes remission. She has an established background in creating practical and sustainable solutions for healthier and happier lives.
Mei Wan is registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and a Full Member of BDA (The Association of UK Dietitians).
