I am a practitioner registrant with the SENr and have 8 years experience working with athletes of all different levels across a wide range of sports, including triathlon, ultra-endurance cycling and marathon running. I hold a PhD in Exercise Recovery and Nutrition from the University of Chichester and have published several peer-reviewed papers in sports nutrition and exercise recovery. In my day job, I am a Senior Programme Manager with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. I primarily programme manage the Transforming the UK Food Systems programme, which is a £47.5 million UKRI strategic priority fund, aiming to fundamentally transform the UK food system by placing healthy people and a healthy natural environment at the centre.
