The Neonatal Dietitians Group have formalised links with the following organisations: 

British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM)

BAPM (British Association of Perinatal Medicine) is a UK professional body dedicated to improving care for mothers and babies during pregnancy, birth, and the newborn period. It develops clinical guidelines, supports education and research, and advocates for high standards in perinatal medicine.

N3 Neonatal Nutrition Network

A multidisciplinary national network focused on improving nutritional care for preterm and sick newborns through shared expertise, guideline development, education, and quality improvement in neonatal services.

UK Human Milk Bank (UKAMB)

UKAMB is a registered charity that supports human milk banking in the UK. Their motto is ‘Every Drop Counts’ and their goal is to ensure access to donor milk to every child who would benefit from its use.

Bliss 

Bliss is a UK charity that supports families of premature and sick babies, campaigns for better neonatal care, and funds research to improve outcomes. Its mission is to ensure every baby born needing neonatal care has the best chance of survival and quality of life.

ESPGHAN

The European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) is a multi-professional, non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote the health of children with special attention to the gastrointestinal tract, liver and nutritional status, through knowledge creation, the dissemination of science based information, the promotion of best practice in the delivery of care and the provision of high quality education for paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition professionals in Europe and beyond.

National Neonatal Surgical Interest Group NNSIG

The National Neonatal Surgical Interest Group (NNSIG) is a UK-based multidisciplinary network of nurses and allied health professionals focused on improving care for newborns requiring surgical management. It promotes best practice, education, and collaborative research to optimize outcomes for surgical neonates and their families.

The Neonatal Data Analysis Unit (NDAU)

The Neonatal Data Analysis Unit (NDAU) was established to improve the quality of operational clinical data captured at the point of clinical care and promote their best use to support neonatal services and facilitate research. The NDAU analyse data for the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP).

Data is collected electronically by neonatal units around the UK mostly via the Badger.net platform and this is collated and analysed, forming a huge database for ongoing neonatal audit and research.
