  • Identify common food-related triggers and symptoms associated with MCAS, including the role of histamine and other biogenic amines.
  • Evaluate the evidence base for dietary interventions used in MCAS, including low-histamine diets and other elimination protocols.
  • Develop individualised dietary strategies for clients with suspected or diagnosed MCAS, taking into account nutritional adequacy, symptom management, and quality of life.

Speakers

Chloe is a Dietitian with over 10 years experience working in the NHS and now runs her own business @thecalmgutdietitian Chloe specialises in Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), gut health, histamine intolerance, Long Covid and Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS).

Chloe is passionate about supporting those with MCAS, Long Covid and Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) following her husband's experience with these conditions and uses her platform as a media spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association (BDA) to raise awareness of these lesser-known conditions.

In addition to her NHS role, Alison runs a thriving private practice, The Unexpected Dietitian, where she specialises in neuro affirming and gender affirming care for neurodivergent patients managing chronic conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Postural tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), M.E and many others.
