Elizabeth is an experienced Eating Disorders and Mental Health Dietitian. She specialises in treating under 18’s and adult clients with eating disorders or disordered eating, people struggling with chronic dieting and emotional eating, severe mental health difficulties and supporting people using GLP-1s. She has over twenty years' experience working in the NHS, private practice and for companies.

Elizabeth takes a non-diet and weight-inclusive approach. She has experience of working with all age groups and families have told her that her warm, compassionate approach has helped ease their child’s anxiety. Through her clinical work she has experience of working with young people who have ASD, ADHD and anxiety.

Elizabeth is a certified intuitive eating counsellor with Tribole and Resch, SOS Approach to Feeding certified and trained in Maudsley FT-AN, as well as a range of behavioural change approaches. She takes a particular interest in the biology of appetite regulation and eating difficulties and how these apply in practice to client’s difficulties – head over to her blog to find out more.

“I like to focus on do-able, achievable and sustainable solutions that activate the reward centre and soothe the brain, rather than perfectionism, which can activate the fear and threat centres instead.”

Elizabeth is experienced, and attends regular CPD, in a range of conditions and dietetic approaches that can co-occur with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting and mental health difficulties, including constipation, IBS, bloating and reflux, coeliac disease, diabetes, allergies and inflammatory bowel problems.

Elizabeth has experience of delivering corporate wellness events using an intuitive eating approach. She has also been trained in using various coaching techniques and provides clinical supervision and mentoring to dietitians and other colleagues.
