A new partnership to support you: BDA x Whitworths

We’re pleased to share that the BDA is teaming up with Whitworths, the UK’s leading supplier of nuts, seeds and dried fruit, in a new partnership designed to support you in promoting healthy eating and preventing chronic disease through good nutrition.

This ​is all about making sure you have the practical tools, trusted information and professional development opportunities you need when talking about the role of whole foods in everyday diets.

What’s in it for you?

Here’s how this new partnership will benefit BDA members:

  • New CPD Opportunities: We’re working with Whitworths to create a BDA-approved CPD course focused on how food behaviours and nutrition can support the prevention and management of chronic conditions. It’ll be packed with useful, evidence-based insight to help in your day-to-day practice.
  • Influencing Industry Practice: As part of the partnership, we’re advising Whitworths on their internal nutrition policy and new product development. It’s another way we’re helping to ensure that the voice of dietitians is heard when it comes to how food products are developed and marketed.
