Olivia Lynan
BSc, SENR
I am a SENr-registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist and a HCPC-registered Specialist Diabetes Dietitian working within the NHS. I support active adults and athletes to fuel training, competition, and recovery effectively, using evidence-based nutrition that fits real life.
My work focuses on performance nutrition for team sports, strength and conditioning, and endurance exercise. I help clients optimise energy availability, carbohydrate periodisation, protein intake, hydration, and competition-day fuelling, while also supporting long-term health and wellbeing. I have particular experience working with athletes managing health conditions such as diabetes alongside training.
Alongside my sports nutrition practice, my clinical background means I bring a strong grounding in medical nutrition therapy, behaviour change, and safe, ethical practice. I prioritise education and empowerment, helping clients understand why they are fuelling in a certain way so they can make confident, informed decisions independently.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and science-led, supporting performance without perfectionism, and progress you can sustain.
