Gary Kirwan will cover organisational change, restructuring and redundancies.
The session will give an overview on the processes involved and answer questions that are raised by members.
Gary started with BDA December 2025 as a casework consultant. Prior to that he worked as a national officer for the RCN for over 21 years and before that a national officer for the CSP for 13 years. He did a range of individual and collective representational work at local, regional and national level. He have also been a steward and health and safety rep for a number of trade unions in the past.

It will encourage members to get involved and demonstrate how being a rep develops skills, supports career growth and improves workplaces. The more members that get involved, the stronger the BDA will be as a professional association.
