Summary of Session: Dietary management of the ultra rare genetic condition Familial Chylomicronaemia Syndrome (FCS). FCS causes very high triglyceride levels in the blood which if left untreated leads to life threatening pancreatitis and in the long term, if not managed correctly, chronic pancreatitis and diabetes. A very low fat diet is the main stay of management. We will look at the dietary management and the challenges that people face having to manage FCS
