**NEW COURSE**
This brand new course, aimed at dietitians at entry and enhanced level of practice, will be delivered at the BDA office in Birmingham. Upon completing the course, attendees will understand how to conduct a more detailed clinical assessment in dietetic practice, utilising relevant physical and functional assessments, and demonstrate their application in the acute setting.
The course will:
Pre-course - Attendees on this course will be required to attend a two-hour online introduction to clinical assessment for the dietetic workforce online workshop four weeks before they attend the face-to-face session on the 24th February 2026
Post course - Four weeks after completing the course, attendees must participate in a 90 minute online session where they deliver a case-based presentation and lead a discussion. This session is a mandatory component of the course, designed to demonstrate how attendees plan to apply their learning in practice. Upon completion, participants will receive their certificate of attendance.
