Enhanced Dietary Management of Adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

**NEW COURSE**

This new course, which will be held at the BDA office in Birmingham, is suitable for dietitians who have previously attended the BDA ‘Introduction to adults with IBD’ course, and/or those with clinical experience in managing individuals with IBD wishing to advance their knowledge or move to a more specialist role.  

The aim of the course is to: 

  1. Provide in-depth knowledge and skills in the nutritional care of adults living with IBD. 

  2. Apply knowledge when discussing case studies and reflecting on your local IBD service 

  3. Explore the nutritional problems associated with medical and surgical interventions for IBD and provide an understanding of appropriate dietetic management. 

  4. Improve awareness of future innovations in IBD.
