About Jasmine

Jasmine Carbon is UK registered Senior Specialist Community Dietitian and Team Lead working in Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London.  In her 6 years as a dietitian, she has worked with patients with cancer, stroke, kidney disease, irritable bowel syndrome and type 2 diabetes; providing nutritional advice to manage and improve their health outcomes.

Her passion lies in delivering evidence based nutritional advice and ensuring that this is tailored to an individual's cultural heritage and diet.

Carbon Nutrition & Dietetics is Jasmine’s nutritional consultancy service where she works with people who enjoy eating traditional Afro-Caribbean cuisine and want support on how to improve their health and well-being without compromising on their cultural foods. Jasmine also works with charities and organisations to make nutritional advice more accessible to groups from low socio-economic backgrounds.  

Jasmine is the Vice Chair for the British Dietetic Association (BDA) London Branch. Within this role she co-ordinates clinical professional development opportunities for BDA London members and promotes the diversity of its members.
